Database exports and imports

You can safely export your databases using NeetoDeploy. You can either do it manually or set a time for NeetoDeploy to do it automatically for you.

Database exports and imports are available for all the following addons at the moment:

• PostgreSQL

• Redis

• Elasticsearch

Manual exports

To use this feature, navigate to the "Export" section of your addon page.

The exported file will be in a format importable in any of your addon's instances. You can import it within NeetoDeploy using the Import tab as well.

If you are importing a local backup, please refer to this document on how to take the local backup.

Scheduled exports

Scheduled exports create backups daily at the specified time you have set. A maximum of 10 backups will be retained for each instance. These backups can be used to recover data in the event of a crash or data loss.

Here's how to enable scheduled exports:

1. Got to the Settings section of a PostgreSQL addon

2. Click the checkbox and give the desired backup time

3. Click the Save changes button

Upload to S3

You also have the option to upload the exports made by the scheduler to an external S3 bucket. All you have to do is provide the credentials for NeetoDeploy to access the bucket:
