Updating Plans for Addons

Updating the plan for your addon is different from that of dynos. You need to turn on maintenance mode for your app first before you can update the plans of your addons. This is done so that the app is inaccessible to the user while the addon plan is being updated. This will make sure that there is not data loss and that the app doesn't throw any errors to the user since the addons were being updated.

1. Turn on maintenance mode for your application.

2. Select the Update plan option from the menu for the addon you want to update.

   

3. Select the required plan from the dropdown and click Submit. This will update the plan for your addon.

   

4. Turn off maintenance mode for your application.

Your app would be restarted now, and the addon would be running with the updated plan.
